Thanks Vicky that means a lot 🥰🥲 it hasn’t been easy, still isn’t (heading to hospital now for yet another appointment) but the writing, believe it or not, has helped me cope. Cdn health system definitely a mixed bag yes 😅 but can’t argue with the favourable outcome in the end (even tho it was a really windy frustrating way to get there…)
For me, your story reads like a thriller. You took me along on the journey and, in an oddly comforting way, made me feel like I was with you. I’m thankful that you found the light within a harrowing process and are finding comfort in humor, beauty, and connection.
