I am of the same mind, that is why my front lawn consists of perennial plants and flowers and I am adding more and more native plants to support bees, butterflies and insects especially after joining the Butterflyway group. I would love to see the bylaw for lawns updated. This is one small step to change the eco system where each home owner can take part in.
Thank you dear Fei. Just last evening, while gardening, I gave away a whole bunch of different plants to a lady walking by. She said the garden is so beautiful and she feels so happy looking at my garden!
Thanks. Though I do think it was a bit more than a rant. Opinion sure, but informative and researched, so it did not feel like a rant, but I think I understand what you mean.
🙏 the goal was to give the 10,000ft view and quickly zoom down to the mundane but irritating part and still feel the weight of history... it was ambitious and I tried hard so I’m glad it is appreciated ☺️
Haha now I know why I get annoyed by Japanese parks
Tell more! Is it bc they are mostly grass?
