WELCOME BACK!! The Brain Pickings realization is š how many of us here realized something about the universality of our uniqueness from her I wonder. Good to have you back :)
I subscribed to your Substack back when I was crazy with PKM. I'm no longer that obsessed with that topic anymore (which makes me not a good client for you :D). I subscribed because I like your writing style. I like how you put words into this blank canvas. I don't know what about it. I just enjoy reading it. Hope to see more writing from you.
Hey Davuth, thank you for being here and for sharing! Comments like these are what keep me going āŗļø PKM is not necessary for everyone, so totally understand š«¶
It was actually very pleasant to have your email telling me you're back.
I look forward to reading your current and future work.
Your Tana involvement is interesting. I personally found Tana to be overwhelming and such a drag on my time when I attempted to use it a couple of years ago.
I'm an old school user of thebrain.com and Workflowy and just found it alien to my senses to use Tana. Maybe you'll convince me to jump back in.
There may be hope for me.
You've had changes; me too. I retired from the graphical knowledge mapping arena and so glad I did.
Congrats on your retirement! I remember we were trying to get you onboard but if you couldnāt stick to it I wouldnāt stress too much about it. Maybe Tana isnāt suited for the way your brain works and thatās totally fine. I wouldnāt force it if you already have something that works ā¤ļø
Fei, I'm sorry to see you leave Tana, but I totally get your desire to have more time to focus on other high-priority projects before the baby arrives. You have a truly rare blend of blazingly sharp intellect, an ability to simply explain complex things to less-techy people, a seemingly infinite pool of patience, an incredible online presence-fueled by warmth and tact, and a healthy tolerance for those in the tech space (and there are many) who have less patience than you. Best of luck in the great adventure(s) that lies ahead for you.
š wow Iām blushing, thank you for such kind words Roy!! Can I put this on my testimonials page??? Iāve loved our interactions in the Tana community, and Iāll still be around āŗļø
What's the state of play with Minimum Viable Zettelkasten? I'd be an early bird, but I suspect I am VERY late to the party :-) Wishing you well for new adventures, with thanks for all you've done with Tana.
Im setting up a play date. With YOU. Before the baby arrives. Im so excited! Such great news!
Yessss would love that! š

Thank you Alan! I will have to get back to you about MVZK :)
Hi Fei,
New sub here. Iāve either came here on recommendation or I saw something interesting, it has been a while so I cannot say.
I really appreciate hearing about your update and took some interesting cues from you there.
I look forward towards future updates! Good luck with everything!
