I’ve been thinking about this, and all I can recommend is to first inform ourselves about the things that cause housing inaffordability, inequality, and inaccessibility. Then, to advocate for introducing “more neighbours” in every neighbourhood. Be the YIMBY (“Yes! in My Backyard”) in the public meetings! What’s remarkable is that by increasing the density of our cities, we not only solve the housing crisis, but we also save the planet by releasing less carbon. It truly is a win-win situation :)
